I honestly can’t believe it’s already time to write my goals post for July! I know I say this every month, but this month has truly flown by! It seems like just yesterday, it was May. I think part of that has to do with the wedding and honeymoon. We left for our honeymoon in May, and it was June by the time we got home. Because of that, our month in the “real world” was cut short. I really only had three weeks of June. Even so, this summer is going inexcusably fast.
Let’s start with taking a look at my June goals and seeing how I did!
-Follow a meal plan for real. (Yes and no. When we first got back from the honeymoon, I did really well for a couple of weeks. The last week and a half has not been so good!)
-Take Leia to the dog park! (Fail, again.)
-Relaunch the blog with a new design. (Yes! And even earlier than I anticipated! I originally had it on my calendar that I was going to make the final switch the second weekend in June, after we had a week to settle in from the honeymoon. Well, I got to work on the blog as soon as we got home and was ready to switch over three days early! I’m not even close to being done fixing things up, but I love the new design and all the new things I can do on a self-hosted site!
Unpack and do honeymoon laundry in a timely manner.
–Make at least one new meal per week. In line with my fitness goals and meal planning goals, I want to start trying out at least one new recipe each week. This will give me the push I need to try out all those recipes I pin on Pinterest and then never touch again!
–Start laying down plans for my Etsy shop. Finally starting my Etsy shop has been on my to-do list for a long time now, and this is the month I finally start doing more research and making concrete plans! I definitely don’t expect to have the shop up and running this month, but I’d like to start putting together ideas.
–Send out wedding thank-you cards. Yeah, Dave and I haven’t done that yet. Oops! What is the socially acceptable time frame to send them out? I promise this month is the month!
–Clean out my closet. Our closet is a disaster. We both have more clothes than we wear and there is clutter everywhere! I want to do a serious clean-out and re-organization this month.
–Surpass 1,000 followers on all of my social media platforms. In the last couple of months, it feels like I’ve hit a plateau with my social media following. While my page views have continued to rise even faster, I want to put more effort into gaining a following on social media. This month I want to hit 1,000 on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (already have on Pinterest).
