The last few weeks have been a roller-coaster for me. Because of that, I’m ready for a break and to spend this weekend treating myself! I wanted to jump in here today to share a few ways to treat yourself.

Create an At-Home Spa

It’s no surprise that we ladies love the spa, but going to the spa can also be super pricey! Do your own at-home spa day that includes a luxurious bubble bath, a facial, and a mani-pedi.

Have a “Me” Day

Every once in awhile, it’s nice to take an entire just for yourself. No cleaning, no annoying errands, no responsibility (I realize this is harder for those with kiddos, but see if a family member can babysit for your “me” day!) I’m not gonna lie, whenever I do have a day like this, I basically just watch Netflix and eat my favorite foods, but that’s totally fine because that’s one of my favorite ways to spoil myself!

You could also set aside some money and use your “me” day to do some shopping or buy yourself a few books you’ve been wanting to read!

Buy Yourself Flowers

I love having flowers around the house, and often they’ll catch my eye as I’m walking through the grocery store, but I always talk myself out of it because they’re going to die soon anyway. Well, who cares? Those few days they’re in the house always make me happy whenever I see them, and they totally brighten up the room. Regardless of whether you’ve got a significant other who buys you flowers, next time you’re out and about, pick yourself up a bouquet! Plus if you’re a blogger, let’s be honest, they make for a good photo opp.

Splurge on Your Favorite Food or Drink

For some, this might mean a bottle of wine or brand of ice cream you love that you enjoy curled up in front of the TV. I can totally relate to this! It could also mean a favorite restaurant that you don’t visit very often because of the price. Not only does limiting these visits save money, but it also makes it more exciting when we do occasionally splurge!
